What about Retro Sweets in Christmas Season?

Christmas is the day that almost all people awaited at each year. It comes to our minds every time it is the –ber months. And then we usually start our countdown of days till Christmas Eve. I am not really sure how people do it, but that is the way I anticipate the season of Christmas. I mark my calendars hoping that my godfathers and godmothers are marking theirs too, waiting for the time to finally be able to save enough money to buy gifts and give their Christmas gifts to me.

So far I usually receive money, toys, clothes, perfume, shoes, and other apparels that suit me at my age. But for me, if I would have to give gifts to my nephews, nieces, or anyone for that matter, I would have accompanied it with something to represent the sweet sentiments that Christmas always reminds me of. What other sweet things would that be other than Christmas sweets, all beautifully wrapped up in various designed packages. If only I know how to bake, I would personally do it myself to make it even sweeter and special.

Christmas sweets should not be limited as gifts. It could be something you could prepare for the kids like retro sweets served in jars, hampers or even capsules. Retro sweets to serve can be special bonbons, lollipops, white chocolates, marshmallows, toffee crumble, coconut teacakes, porky pigs, pear drops, liquorice comfits and wheels, sherbet pips, sour apples, spearmint chews and etc. This can be bought in almost all shops since it is Christmas season, usually in pre-set packages. You can also send this Christmas sweets as something to share to your neighbors. It is cheaper yet full of the spirit of sharing which embodies the true meaning of Christmas.

Never estimate the power of retro sweets to add joy to your Christmas holiday.
